Autillo de Campos is located in the plain of the natural region of Campos-La Nava, in a territory marked by the Valdeginate River, whose floods have historically conditioned the landscape and the use of the meadows.

The history of Autillo is linked to one of the key episodes in the history of Castile. In 1217, Ferdinand III was proclaimed king in this town, a decisive event for the subsequent unification of the kingdoms of Castile and León. Later, the town was associated with the powerful Girón lineage.

The main landmark is the Church of Santa Eufemia, built in the 16th century, along with its slender, detached tower. Inside, a remarkable altarpiece and a Baroque organ, both of great artistic value, are preserved.

The landscape is completed by the elegant bridges over the Valdeginate, built in the 18th century, and by the route of the Canal de Castilla.
