Corcos del Valle is located in a fertile territory crossed by the Pisuerga River and the Canal de Castilla, which have historically shaped the landscape and agricultural activity.

The relationship of Corcos del Valle with the Canal de Castilla is especially visible in lock number 40, next to which industrial infrastructures were developed, such as a flour factory, a testament to the impact of the canal on the economic transformation of the territory.

The municipality preserves traditional wineries and examples of popular architecture, integrated into a cultural landscape linked to the Cigales Designation of Origin, where wine continues to be an element of identity today.

On the other side of the canal is the Cistercian monastery of Santa María de Palazuelos, founded in the 13th century and which constitutes one of the great heritage landmarks of the area.

Corcos del Valle offers a clear reading of the territory where water, heritage, wine and agricultural activity explain the identity of the Pisuerga countryside.
