Cubillas de Santa Marta

Cubillas de Santa Marta is located in the Pisuerga River valley, historically marked by a deep-rooted winemaking tradition. The town maintains a direct relationship with the Canal de Castilla, which runs through its immediate surroundings. Lock number 39 is located along this stretch, a key piece of infrastructure for understanding the canal’s operation and its role as a transport axis and economic hub for the valley since the 18th century.
