From Fuentes de Navas to lock 1 of the branch, in Abarca

This section of the Canal de Castilla runs for 5 kilometers between the Fuentes bridge and the town of Abarca. The route passes through a characteristic rural environment, with paths close to the canal and alternative crossings in good condition. Although the towpath is not well-defined in some places, the left bank allows for progress without major difficulties. Along the route, notable elements can be observed, such as aqueducts, small ponds, and the first lock on the Campos branch. The end in Abarca offers significant cultural value, with the old flour mill converted into a museum and other historical buildings.
