From Osorno la Mayor to Requena de Campos

This section of the Castile Canal extends for 12.2 kilometers between Osorno and Requena de Campos. The route passes through a very characteristic rural environment, crossing several towns and showing key elements of the hydraulic system such as locks, aqueducts, irrigation sumps, and beacons. The route is comfortable and accessible if you follow the left bank, which is in good condition throughout the journey. This section highlights the importance of the canal in irrigation and in the transformation of the area’s agricultural landscape.
