From Ventosa to the lock group 11 and 12, in Olmos de Pisuerga

This section of the Canal de Castilla connects Ventosa with the group of locks 11 and 12, in Olmos. The route, for seven and a half kilometers, goes through rural areas while passing by different locks that reflect the canal’s system. The route is easier if you follow the left bank, which is well-defined, than the right, which presents more difficulties due to vegetation. During the journey, you can appreciate the historical and functional value of the Canal, as well as its integration into the agricultural landscape.
